About 0euro.site

0euro.site is a free community platform for collectors of 0€ souvenir banknotes from around the world. The site is built by collectors, for collectors.

The 0€ souvenir banknote was invented in France in 2015 by Richard Faille. Printed by Oberthur Technologies on official ECB-licensed cotton paper with real security features (watermark, hologram, UV print, serial number), these notes are legal tender in appearance but have no monetary value. They are sold at tourist sites, museums, and cultural landmarks across Europe.

Today there are over 6,000 different designs from more than 40 countries, with new editions released every month. Collecting 0€ banknotes has grown into a vibrant community of thousands of collectors worldwide.

Data sources

Our catalogue is based on data from billets-touristiques.com, the most comprehensive public database of 0€ souvenir banknotes. We synchronize and enrich this data with community contributions: location reports, availability updates, photos, and corrections.

All catalogue images are credited to billets-touristiques.com. Community photos and personal collection data belong to the individual collectors who uploaded them.
